Jacques Blignaut
Jacques Blignaut is a seasoned import/export practitioner that has been involved in International Trade for the last 26 years, during which period he built up businesses with a combined annual turnover in excess of R2 billion. Jacques frequently advises and assists multinational companies, HNWI and industry leaders in various jurisdictions and industries, including the steel industry, building material, travel, renewable energy, call centres, IT, the leisure market and property. Having lived in Nigeria, London, Switzerland and South Africa and having travelled to more than 70 countries, Jacques is a true global citizen and global businessman with the proven experience to analyse businesses and establish a clear way forward in the fast pace of international trade. As an invaluable member of MPV Jacques assumes responsibility for advice and assistance with all import/export finance transactions as well as the sourcing and pre-qualification of domestic finance transactions.
Quincy Beukes
Quincy Beukes is a chartered banker (ChBP), principal business adviser (PBA) and professional business practitioner (MBA) with >25-years of buy-side merger & acquisition (M&A), financial services and specialist banking experience. Quincy has demonstrable success in advising HNWI, family offices and non-public funds in various sectors and multiple jurisdictions, including Africa, Australia / New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, United Kingdom and Mauritius on M&A transactions as well as incubation, acceleration and turnaround advice. Due to his vast experience, Quincy has mastered the process of rapid execution of opportunity identification, qualification, transaction, enablement, value-capture and exit. As a critical part of the MPV executive team, he assumes responsibility for evaluating and structuring all MPV’s identified/qualified transactions, as well as playing a supporting role in legal enablement, finance and systems.
Louis Stroebel
Louis Stroebel is a practicing attorney and head of the Corporate and Commercial Law department at SST Attorneys. Louis completed his LLM (import/export law) in 2006 and qualified as a practicing attorney in 2009. He advises on and assists clients in various industries, including financial services, private equity/venture capital, industrial and manufacturing, professional services, the franchise industry and the medical industry. His day-to-day functions include advising on mergers and acquisition transactions, corporate restructurings, cross-border transactions, business succession planning, setting up off-shore structures and drafting complex commercial agreements. As one of the founding members of MPV, Louis assumes responsibility for the drafting and implementation of all contracts between MPV and its clients and investors, as well as enabling and enforcing transactions (where necessary), ensuring overall compliance of all MPV’s transactions, as well as playing a supporting role in monitoring and governance.
